About me

I’m a Senior Applied Scientist and Tech Lead at Oracle with over 8 years of experience building large-scale AI systems. My current focus is on Responsible AI, where I lead work on LLM alignment, safety tuning, content moderation, and PII detection to ensure secure and ethical AI deployment across enterprise use cases. I’m especially passionate about creating culturally inclusive and regionally adaptive models that perform reliably in diverse global settings.

At Oracle, I led the development of our internal AI code assistant, a generative platform that boosts developer productivity and is projected to save tens of millions annually. Earlier, I played a key role in building Oracle’s vision and document AI stack, leading efforts in image classification, document understanding, and key-value extraction. These systems are now integrated into core Oracle Cloud services and power automation in business-critical workflows such as procurement, ERP, and document processing.

I hold a Master’s degree from New York University, where I was advised by Professor Ralph Grishman. I’ve authored over 15 research papers and filed more than 10 patents, with one already granted. I actively contribute to the research community as a reviewer, area chair, and program committee member for ICLR, NeurIPS, ACL, NAACL, and KDD. I also mentor early-career researchers through the ACL mentorship program and remain committed to advancing practical, safe, and inclusive AI.
