Current role
Hitesh Laxmichand Patel is a Principal Applied Scientist and Tech Lead at Oracle. His research spans LLM post-training and alignment, agentic AI and retrieval-augmented generation, reasoning evaluation, and multilingual and multimodal models.
His projects include OCI Generative AI Safety, Oracle Code Assist, and OCI Vision and Document Intelligence.

Research and recognition
Hitesh has coauthored 40+ peer-reviewed papers and filed 15+ patents. His recognitions include the EMNLP 2025 Best Social Impact Paper Award for AccessEval and an ICML 2026 Spotlight for Judging What We Cannot Solve.
Community service
